In the Lofter system, a suite of built-in development tools allows precise optimizations of the 3D aerodynamic model, in a very easy, quick and intuitive way.
The main geometric primitives of the aerodynamic surface, like the boundary profiles and airfoil sections, are defined by means of high density splines or other editable and smooth mathematical functions.
With a sophisticated set of tools the shape of these elements can be driven, stretched, and blended with continuity along the object, to get parents and precise geometry changes.
